How do I order my new gear?
Its really easy, just send us an email with your order to sales@windsurfingsales.com.au and we will quickly process your order.
Does Windsurfing Sales take credit card?
Actually no, and by preference. The majority of our customers would prefer not to supply their credit card over the net, instead would rather direct transfer using the security of their own bank. This works for everybody, allowing savings to be passed on to the customer.
How much does it cost to freight my new gear?
We generally use TNT or Fastway, allowing faster and better delivery to you. For larger items, freight is very reasonable, generally freight will be approx $19/$30 per order to metro areas in the eastern states (some regional areas involve surcharge from the carriers). For an accurate quote, please email us at sales@windsurfingsales.com.au and we will quickly confirm the freight quote of you new gear order.
I am worried about receiving my windsurfing / sailboard gear via mail-order. Will it arrive in good condition?
All gear is packaged carefully and should arrive in good condition. For example, all sails are carefully wrapped then sent in a cardboard box or protective packaging.
I am concerned that I can't see the condition of the new sail I am buying, I normally check for shop damage before I buy.
We simply to do not have shop soiled gear. When our sails arrive from the factory, they are stored away carefully. Next time they move is when they are sent to you.
Why is our gear such good value for money?
We operate an efficient business with a low overhead structure, we pass savings to customers. There is no myriad of middlemen involved. We also do not believe every day windsurfers should pay a fortune for their gear so that sponsored sailors get a better ride. High performance gear at a great price is the simple aim of our value chain.
Very often - Yes. Windsurfing Sales carries a range of spares for our gear, and if we have got it we would be delighted to help you with a good deal to get you back on the water. If your after spares, please email sales@windsurfingsales.com.au and we would be delighted to try to assist.
Am I covered for warranty against manufacturing defects?
All products purchased through Windsurfing Sales come with a one year warranty.
Warranty applies to defects of manufacture only. Warranty does not apply in circumstances such as accidents, excessive wear and tear, incorrect rigging or excessively rough handling.
To make a warranty claim for a manufacturing defect, please email sales@windsurfingsales.com.au with a description of the defect, a clear digital photograph of the defect, and a description of the incident that brought the defect to light.
We note that a very small minority of clients over the years have taken advantage of our warranty approach. We do reserve the right not to sell to people who we think may abuse warranty.
What happens if it gets lost in the post?
WindsurfingSales couriers all items. Your gear will have a tracking number so you can track its whereabouts.
What happens if I place my order & I change my mind?
If you're unsure about your order, please resolve any questions with us for before you place your order.
How long will I have to wait for my gear to arrive?
As soon as your payment is received, item will be dispatched and couriered to your address. See the below table for the expected delivery times.
