All of the booms (Wave or Race) have the following features
Axial Suspension Front End:
Easy to assemble at the mast with its new hinge lock system
Axial suspension, means that the front end has an rotate-able bearing; leverage and vibrations are compensated, therefore it is especially gentle on the mast and it becomes very easy to adjust the height of the boom without material stress on the leech
Extremely stiff 4-fold INOX INBUS screws
Soft rubber as shock absorber will protect the board
Tubes:
T8 aluminium tube diameter give a longer endurance for sailing without fatigue in the forearms and hands
Duo-grip coating with a resistant grip at the outside and congenial diamond-shaped grip at the inside
Special curves of the tubes, designed according to the different kind of uses
Scale for the harness lines at the outside
Vario Rear End:
Stiff, continuous aluminium arch
Double-riveted trim top with quick loop to loop rope guide on Wave, and brass turning rolls on Race
Secured double pin lock system that guarantees firm adjustment and avoids twisting of the tubes
Length adjustment with marks every 20mm, adjustment range: 50 cm
