The Loft
Sails Technology & Details
The Loft applies first quality sailmaking materials and detailed
construction techniques and to our progressive, original designs.
For 2005 The Loft constructs all our sails with new items which make
windsurfing easier with greater longevity.
Loftsails uses tri-axial laminates for all foot panels, new metallic
x-grids as well as our new DuraSleeve tight-weave mast pocket material.
Also new for 05 are the molded mast pad and soft, durable PVC foot edge.
The sum of Loft parts creates your progressive ride.
it's in the details...

 An
emphasis on function and longevity rather than fashion look. Panel
overlap at the head, clew and tack - to maintain integrity. The clew
is where one can most easily see this simple and effective building
technique. The two seams that extend into the sail body from the clew,
which creates a simple and strong connection between the clew and the
sail body. Our construction method significantly improves sail integrity
with minimal weight.
